Breast Enlargement for Asymmetry Surgery (including Tuberous Breasts)

Breast Augmentation for Asymmetry Surgery (including Tuberous Breasts)

Breast Enlargement for Asymmetry Surgery (including Tuberous Breasts) is a corrective procedure designed to balance breasts that differ significantly in volume, shape, or position, often involving the complex remodeling of “tuberous” or constricted breast tissue. Tuberous breasts are characterized by a narrow base, a high under-breast fold, and an enlarged or puffy areola; correcting this requires more than just an implant. The surgeon must surgically release the internal fibrous bands that restrict the breast’s growth, lower the breast crease, and often use implants of different sizes or shapes—sometimes combined with fat grafting—to achieve a proportional, rounded, and symmetrical appearance.
